About

LEAP is an academic laboratory dedicated to the production and dissemination of applied knowledge in the evaluation of public policies and regional development. Based at the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB), the laboratory brings together faculty and students of Economics from different institutions across the country, fostering a collaborative environment for teaching, research, and outreach.

Founded by professor and economist Jevuks Araujo, LEAP is committed to bridging the university with the concrete demands of society, contributing to the design, monitoring, and evaluation of evidence-based public policies.
